As of the release of V16 in June 2025, the Waves Ultimate subscription bundle includes the company's entire catalog of over 240 plugins and virtual instruments

. The subscription model is the primary way to access the complete collection, and new plugins are added regularly at no extra cost. 

What is included

Waves Ultimate features every plugin created by Waves, covering a massive range of audio production needs. The vast collection includes:

• Vocal production plugins: Everything from basic pitch correction with Waves Tune to the AI-powered noise reduction of Clarity Vx and the vocal harmonies of Waves Harmony.
• Analog models: The entire suite of meticulously recreated hardware, including the SSL 4000 Collection, Abbey Road Collection, API Collection, and others.
• Mastering plugins: All of Waves' mastering tools, such as the legendary L2 Ultramaximizer and the Abbey Road TG Mastering Chain.
• Dynamic and EQ plugins: The complete range of compressors, equalizers, and channel strips, from the Renaissance series to the modern F6 Floating-Band Dynamic EQ.

Key features of the V16 update

The V16 update brought significant workflow enhancements across the entire Waves plugin catalog. 

• Freeform resizing: All Waves plugins can now be freely resized by dragging the corner of the window, allowing for a more customized workspace.
• Auto Makeup Gain: This feature was added to five popular analog compressors (CLA-2A, CLA-3A, CLA-76, Abbey Road RS124, and V-Comp) to ensure consistent output levels.
• Updated interfaces: The V-Series plugins (V-COMP, V-EQ3, V-EQ4), IR-Live Convolution Reverb, and MaxxBass received a new, modern GUI for improved visual clarity.
• COSMOS Sample Finder plugin: The intelligent sample organizer can now be used as a plugin directly inside your DAW, with full synchronization to your session's key and tempo.
• StudioVerse integration: This library of AI-powered mixing chains is included with the Ultimate subscription, offering thousands of professionally created effect chains and presets.
